Health Awareness Camps
-The kind of work that TCA had been doing to combat the global evil of HIV-AIDS deserves separate mentioning. Indian Statistical Institute assessment specifies West Bengal as the beehive of potential Aids epidemic. Toronto Calcutta Association (TCA) is also working on to provide sustainable health practices through some promotions along with awareness generation among target groups.
As a part of its goal Toronto Calcutta Association (TCA) organizes awareness camps at various villages of South 24 Parganas on with a view to
- Generate awareness at the grass root level to felicitate for prevention of HIV,
- To convince that the preventive healthcare is important for holistic development,
- Motivating the community to adhere to the clinical services is vitally important.
